Loved reading this book , truly a classic of modern times. I am really impressed by the authors writing more than the plot and the theme of this book. Looking forward to read other works by him , especially ,"Hundred years of solitude."
To mention first , i really liked the last page of this book and kept on thinking about it for some time.
Fermina Daza is the main female character of this novel and the story revolves around her. The man(Floretinio Ariza) loves the woman and thinks the same but his proposal is rejected all of a sudden . From then his whole life revolves around this woman , everything he does reminds him of her. His poems , his romances , his job , every action is governed by her. So this story goes on and on for 53 years 7 months and eleven days.
